Altona 20 defeated Williamstown 2

 

Altona and Williamstown were playing for top spot but Altona were far too good in a brilliant display of run and gun lacrosse that will have installed this side as the premiership favourites.  Matthew Fennell was too quick for his opponents up forward as were the entire Altona midfield who consistently beat their opponents into attack and into defence.

Altona 25 defeated Melbourne University 0

 

Altona thrashed Melbourne Uni and picked up valuable percentage in the tight run home for the finals.  Darren Brown and Jason Simpson dominated with 6 goals each.

Altona 18 defeated Melbourne University 2

 

Altona did enough to record an easy win against a Melb Uni side that tried hard.

B Grade Womens

 

Altona 9 defeated Eltham 5

 

Altona recorded a good win against a tough Eltham side.  Shana Kukucka was outstanding in attack.

 

Goals: S. Kukucka 5 Goals, M. Mackinnon 1 goal, S. Struhs 1 goal, M. James 1 goal, T, Moyle 1 goal.

Under 18 Boys

 

Altona 7 defeated Moreland 5

 

The boys broke through for their first win of the year.

Altona 17 defeated MCC 2

 

It is great to watch this Altona side play as they are very team orientated and always looking to pass to others in a better position.  Typically, 13 of the 17 goals scored were assisted.

Altona 10 drew with Chadstone 10.

 

In an exciting match Altona drew with Chadstone.  Brooke Kukucka and Brandon Farrugia once again were outstanding.

Altona 8 defeated Knox 3.

 

With several new players in the side and regular stars Lachlan McDonald and Daniel Stefanidis playing Under 14’s, Aidan Lewer, Mone Lino and Jacob Latu led the side to a very good win.
